Our Commitment to Sustainability
FrostBloom was founded on the conviction that skincare that claims to be natural should actually be natural - verified by an independent party, not self-declared by the brand. That conviction shapes not just what we sell, but how we operate as a company.
This page describes what we actually do, what we require from our suppliers, and where we are in our development. We only communicate what we can stand behind.
Product Certification
All products in the FrostBloom range are certified to the ECOCERT COSMOS standard - either COSMOS NATURAL or COSMOS ORGANIC. The certification means that:
- All ingredients are of natural origin
- No synthetic petrochemicals, parabens, silicones, PEGs, or artificial fragrances are present
- The manufacturing process meets strict environmental and ethical requirements
- Certification is reviewed and renewed by an independent third party every year
The certification is held by our manufacturer at the product level. It is not a self-declaration, but an external, independent commitment to you as a consumer.
Our Manufacturer
FrostBloom's products are manufactured by Selfnamed (SIA Cosmetics Nord), an EU-based cosmetics manufacturer in Latvia. Selfnamed is a Certified B Corporation - one of the most comprehensive independent certifications for social and environmental responsibility available.
B Corp certification means Selfnamed has been independently assessed against rigorous standards covering working conditions, environmental impact, supply chain transparency, and governance. The certification is renewed on a regular basis.

Supplier Requirements
FrostBloom requires the following from all suppliers:
- ECOCERT COSMOS certification: all products must be manufactured by a certified manufacturer
- Full traceability of raw materials: ingredients must be traceable from source to finished product
- Documented environmental and social standards: suppliers must demonstrate compliance with environmental and labour requirements through certification or equivalent documentation
- EU-based production: we prioritise manufacturing within the EU for shorter supply chains and stronger regulatory protection
Packaging
Our shipping cartons are made from 88% recycled materials. Product packaging such as cartons, bottles, and pumps are designed to be recyclable.
We continuously evaluate opportunities to improve the sustainability profile of our packaging materials, including increasing recycled content and exploring refill options over time.
Business Model
FrostBloom operates mainly a dropshipping model, meaning products are manufactured and shipped directly from the producer to the consumer. This eliminates the need for intermediate warehousing, reduces the risk of overproduction and waste, and reduces the number of transport stages compared to conventional e-commerce.
Ingredients and Chemical Management
ECOCERT COSMOS certification guarantees that no synthetic petrochemicals, parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic fragrances, silicones, or PEG compounds are present in any FrostBloom product. All ingredients are of natural origin and processed according to approved methods.
We publish complete ingredient lists for all products and explain what each ingredient does. Transparency around ingredients is a fundamental part of our brand promise. You can find the full ingredient list and explanations on every product page.
Social Sustainability
Production takes place in Latvia; an EU member state with strong labour rights protections and ILO conventions. Selfnamed's B Corp certification includes external assessment of working conditions and social standards throughout the supply chain.
We do not use raw materials from high-risk countries from a labour rights perspective. No production or raw material extraction takes place outside the EU.
Vegan and Cruelty-Free
All FrostBloom products are vegan and cruelty-free. No animal-derived ingredients are used and no animal testing is conducted - by FrostBloom or by our suppliers.
Our Commitments
- We will never make sustainability claims that cannot be verified by an independent party
- We will be transparent about where we are in our sustainability journey - including what we have not yet done
- We will continuously evaluate and improve our environmental and social impact
- We will communicate openly with customers, partners, and stakeholders about our sustainability development
